Job Overview: Adjusting to Changing Schedules Required for 3rd Shift 12:30am-9am As the Warehouse Materials Coordinator, you'll be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of raw materials, maintaining records, and reconciling inventory levels. This position is critical to the success of the production process, as it ensures that everything runs smoothly and on time. Duties & Responsibilities: • Conducting daily inventory counts, resolving any discrepancies identified, contributing to inventories at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end, and ensuring that all raw materials required for scheduled production are on hand are all part of this job • Works with the Corporate Scheduler to ensure that the necessary raw materials for the production schedule are obtained and informs the relevant plant employees of any scheduling changes • Foster close collaboration between the Transportation department and suppliers to ensure that raw material deliveries are synchronized with the production schedule, and maintain timely communication to monitor deliveries • The production team can rely on the guidance of this individual for the correct adherence and understanding of safety, quality, and environmental regulations • Cross-checks material dispatched to production departments to authenticate conformity to directives, artwork, substance modifications, and fresh offerings • Executes testing procedures to qualify fresh raw materials and collaborates with technicians, auditors, and vendors to ensure that the product and process quality and safety abide by the ISO regulations To be competitive in today's job market, individuals must develop a wide range of skills and abilities that are in high demand • Consistent daily lifting of a weight of 25 pounds • Repeatedly utilizing stairs for physical activity • Spending a maximum of 4 hours daily standing up and walking in a vertical position • The capability to control or acquire knowledge of operating a forklift and become qualified for a forklift license subsequently • Perpetual sitting is expected for workers who split their work hours evenly — half in the office and the other half on the plant floor • The manufacturing zone experiences both heat and cold climates • The standard workday starts at 3 o'clock in the morning and ends at half past noon • Throughout the year, one weekend day must be dedicated every month • Skilled professionals who have command over SAP, MS Office, and Windows are highly sought after • To be effective, one must be able to cope with unexpected changes and work within tight deadlines Minimum Qualifications: • By earning a high school diploma or a GED, individuals can set an example for their children, encouraging them to prioritize their education and future prospects • The Benefits of Learning From Colleagues Preferred Qualifications: • As a seasoned professional with two years of experience in manufacturing inventory management, I am well-versed in the importance of developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and other internal teams Work Environment: Behold a place where loud sounds, copious precipitation, and severe temperature changes are the norm and can take some getting used to Coca-Cola Consolidated, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer that celebrates diversity and strives to create a workplace environment that is free from any prejudice that might occur as a consequence of any characteristic trait.
