Warehouse Material Handler

Company Overview: The Warehouse Material Handler at The Home Depot plays an important role in ensuring stores remain stocked and ready for customers each day. This position supports overall store operations by overseeing freight movement, maintaining accurate inventory, verifying pricing, and helping keep the store prepared while following all safety protocols. Role and Responsibilities: As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for unloading, organizing, stocking, and transporting freight to promote a safe and efficient store environment. You will also assist customers during freight handling and collaborate with team leads to support store objectives. • Unload merchandise from inbound deliveries. • Stock products onto shelves, promotional areas, and displays. • Move freight from receiving areas to sales floors or storage locations. • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and product placement. • Ensure signage and pricing labels are accurate and clearly visible. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment (if certified). • Comply with all safety and loss prevention procedures. • Provide courteous customer service while performing freight duties. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in freight and receiving areas. • Work with Freight Team Leads and management to achieve stocking and readiness goals.
