Role and Responsibilities: The Warehouse Freight Runner supports daily warehouse operations by moving materials between locations and ensuring items are prepared for shipment. You will be a critical part of maintaining the flow of products in a timely and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include: • Transport freight and materials within the warehouse to designated locations. • Assist with loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers. • Repack and reorganize freight as required to ensure safe transport and storage. • Ensure the correct placement of materials in designated storage areas to support smooth inventory management. • Maintain cleanliness and order within the warehouse to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. • Assist in sorting and stacking materials to maximize storage space and minimize damage. • Comply with all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and use of equipment. Required Skills and Experience: • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 25-75 lbs on a regular basis. • Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor in a fast-paced environment. • Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred but not required. • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, while following safety procedures and operational guidelines. • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
