The role involves providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes. The assignment runs from 09/20/2026 to 12/19/2026, with a schedule of nights and a minimum workload of 36 hours per week. Job Details: • Position Description: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols; implements and monitors patient care plans; assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs; notes and executes physicians and nurses orders; facilitates well-coordinated patient care. • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license (Nursys License), Drivers License or State ID, completion of Ascension Profile, two professional references, 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience, specialized training for NIH (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) experience requirement: 2 years. • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours each, minimum of 36 hours per week. • Additional Information: This department is a 28-bed Neuro/Stroke unit serving adult patients, with telemetry capabilities. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring and monitor tech support is available. Travelers are required to work up to six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule. Holiday work may be required depending on department needs.
