We are seeking a Testbed & EGSE Technician II to support the development, assembly, and maintenance of Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) testbeds and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) used throughout spacecraft integration, testing, and validation activities. This is a highly hands-on role focused on building and maintaining the hardware systems that engineering teams rely on every day to develop, test, and validate satellite systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with electrical and electromechanical assembly, harness fabrication, PCBA assembly and rework, and troubleshooting complex hardware systems. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with software, hardware, integration, and test teams while contributing directly to the development of next-generation space technology.
What You'll Do
• Assemble and maintain Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) testbeds used for spacecraft testing and validation
• Build and support Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for satellite integration and test activities
• Assemble test racks, test stations, interface hardware, and support equipment
• Fabricate electrical harnesses, cable assemblies, and interconnect systems
• Perform connectorization, pinning, crimping, continuity testing, and cable verification
• Support PCBA assembly, rework, repair, and troubleshooting activities
• Maintain and improve existing testbed and EGSE systems
• Partner with hardware and software engineering teams to support development and testing efforts
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and identify root causes of system failures
• Maintain accurate build documentation, wiring records, and configuration information
What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of hands-on experience assembling and maintaining electrical or electromechanical hardware
• Strong harness fabrication experience including connectorization, pinning, crimping, and continuity testing
• Experience performing PCBA assembly and rework, including surface-mount and through-hole components
• Comfortable working in a Linux-heavy environment and utilizing command-line tools
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
• Experience working in fast-paced engineering or production environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting aerospace, satellite, or spacecraft programs
• Experience working with test equipment, integration systems, or laboratory hardware
• Familiarity with configuration management and hardware documentation practices
• Experience supporting engineering development and qualification activities

Compensation
$45 - $55 Per Hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
