• Job Title: Store Warehouse Associate • Employment Type: Full-Time • Location: Sacramento, CA, United States About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Store Warehouse Associate in Sacramento, CA. In this retail operations role, you will unload incoming merchandise, arrange showroom floor vignettes with visual merchandisers, assemble home furnishings, and oversee customer pickup fulfillment. Key Responsibilities (Showroom Support & Floor Staging): • Manually unload delivery semi-trailers, verify incoming shipments, and stage products in warehouse holding areas. • Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to position, move, and arrange showroom furniture according to floor plans. • Assemble furniture using hand and power tools, inspecting all pieces to maintain brand quality standards. • Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups, hardware adjustments, and repairs on floor samples and customer orders. • Remove sold items from the showroom floor, wrap them safely, and prepare them for delivery or customer pickup. Key Responsibilities (Warehouse Operations & Customer Service): • Greet retail guests at the pickup dock and assist with loading furniture carefully into customer vehicles. • Maintain an organized, clean, and hazard-free backroom warehouse adhering to company safety guidelines. • Execute routine building maintenance tasks, complete weekly checklists, and support inventory audits. • Work collaboratively with sales and logistics teams to minimize store operational expenses. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Physical capability to lift and transport objects over 100 lbs (with assistance as needed) throughout shifts. • Ability to assemble furniture using basic hand and power tools safely. • Friendly, professional demeanor when interacting with retail guests during merchandise pickups. • Legal authorization to work in the US; at least 18 years of age. • Reliable attendance and flexibility to work retail schedules including weekends and holidays.
