Staff Zone, a leading construction staffing agency, is seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Skid Steer Operator for a customer project located in Savannah, GA. This role is critical for maintaining a safe work environment and supporting active construction operations. Pay: $22.00 per hour Start date: August 31st Skid Steer Operator We are seeking an experienced and dependable Skid Steer Operator to work on active construction jobsites. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. Responsibilities • Safely operate a skid steer on construction jobsites • Move dirt, gravel, debris, and construction materials • Grade, level, and prepare work areas • Load and unload materials as needed • Assist with jobsite cleanup and general construction duties • Work safely around other workers and equipment • Follow direction from supervisors and site management • Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements Requirements • Previous skid steer operating experience required • Construction jobsite experience preferred • Ability to safely and confidently operate a skid steer • Ability to perform physical labor when needed • Reliable and dependable attendance • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions • Must follow all safety procedures Pay: $22.00 per hour Application Question(s): • Are you willing to undergo a criminal background screening and a drug screening prior to employment?
