Shop Assistant

Position: Shop Assistant Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday) Location: Milwaukee, WI Integrity Trade Services is hiring a Shop Assistant to start immediately at a reputable client in Milwaukee. Responsibilities: • Assist with metal bonding, welding, grinding, and fabrication tasks • Operate hand and power tools with precision • Read tape measures accurately to 16ths of an inch • Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and manual handling • Support installation and assembly projects outdoors when required • Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times • Maintain a clean and organized workspace Qualifications: • Good math skills, especially fractions and decimals • Mechanical ability and experience using hand and electrical tools • Experience with forklift operation and overhead cranes (preferred) • Prior work in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or related environments • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license with an excellent driving record • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment • Willingness to work outdoors occasionally Skills: • Overhead crane operation • Mechanical assembly • Metal polishing • Metal fabrication skills • Welding and grinding practices • Strong attendance and reliability • Ability to work safely with heavy equipment Why choose Integrity Trade Services?
