Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities • Perform all receiving functions, including verifying deliveries for correct items, quantities, and weights • Inspect and sample incoming raw materials and report any discrepancies, shortages, damages, or quality concerns • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment • Ensure quarantined materials are properly segregated and approved materials are stored in designated locations • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve purchase order discrepancies and facilitate material flow • Conduct daily maintenance and safety inspections of material handling equipment • Support the Logistics Manager in promoting workplace safety and environmental compliance • Supervise and follow established safety procedures during hazardous material handling activities • Perform scheduled daily and weekly inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy • Investigate, reconcile, and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records • Maintain accurate stock locations and ensure all materials are properly labeled with SKU and barcode information • Safely transport materials from receiving areas to storage locations, warehouse racks, or production lines • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, in accordance with safety regulations • Optimize warehouse space utilization by consolidating inventory and keeping aisles free from obstructions and hazards • Assist with general warehouse and logistics activities as needed Required Qualifications • 2+ years of experience • High School Diploma or Equivalent • Forklift Certification • OSHA Safety Training Certification Skills • Forklift Operation • Inventory Management Systems • ERP Systems • Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) • Basic Computer Skills • OSHA Safety Standards • Shipping and Receiving Operations • Inventory Control • Warehouse Operations • Material Handling Equipment Operation • Hazardous Material Handling • Cycle Counting and Reconciliation • Purchase Order Discrepancy Resolution • Written and Verbal Communication • Cross-functional Collaboration Schedule Start date: 2026-10-19 Next Steps Shortlisted candidates will receive an email from eximius.ai@compunnel.com with instructions to complete a required screening step.
