Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver Alarm Panel in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 PM - 02:00 AMTue06:00 PM - 02:00 AMWed06:00 PM - 02:00 AMThur06:00 PM - 02:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 02:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns, reporting observations to appropriate personnel. Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and directions while helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
