As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.73 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete required patrol logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Preferred: Access control and/or badge experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
