Role and Responsibilities: As a Route Service Driver, you are responsible for executing daily product deliveries with precision, safety, and efficiency. Your focus will include optimizing routes, accurately handling orders, and cultivating positive relationships with customers and store teams. • Deliver products to assigned retail locations following structured routes. • Safely load and unload items, ensuring product quality is maintained. • Confirm order accuracy and maintain detailed delivery records. • Plan and manage daily routes to meet delivery schedules and service objectives. • Foster and maintain professional relationships with customers and store personnel. • Handle payments and process invoices as required during deliveries. • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly. • Follow all company safety policies and transportation guidelines diligently. • Track inventory and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately. • Adjust to route changes, scheduling updates, and evolving customer requirements efficiently. Required Skills and Experience: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Experience in delivery, logistics, or transportation roles. • Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently. • Strong route planning and time management capabilities. • Basic math skills for processing invoices and payments. • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy packages as needed. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Familiarity with handheld devices or delivery tracking systems. • High attention to detail for order verification and accuracy.
