SUMMARY:
The Refrigeration Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing breakdowns
of refrigeration equipment, utilities, and general facility systems. This position ensures timely
response to equipment issues and conducts routine and emergency repairs to minimize production
downtime.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Inspect refrigeration/freezing, quick freeze, and chiller freezer equipment, respond to alarms, and
manage maintenance.
Energy efficiency must be managed
Maintain records of repair work and equipment history logs.
Assist in root cause analysis for repetitive equipment failures.
Fabricate, replace, or adjust mechanical components as needed.
Support emergency response for equipment breakdowns outside regular hours (if on call).
Coordinate with equipment vendors or external contractors when necessary.
Comply with safety standards and use proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Participate in preventive maintenance (PM) program and suggest improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
4+ years of practical experience in refrigeration maintenance required
Formal training or coursework in refrigeration systems
Valid refrigeration-related certifications and licenses
Strong troubleshooting skills in refrigeration & electrical systems.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Bilingual in English and Korean preferred.
