Receiving Specialist Job Summary of Receiving Specialist: This role is responsible for supporting store operations by ensuring accurate and efficient product receiving, merchandising, and overall store upkeep. The position plays a key role in delivering excellent customer experiences and supporting team operations in a retail setting. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Receiving Specialist: • Receive merchandise and move freight from truck to sales floor efficiently. • Price and merchandise items according to company standards. • Maintain an organized and safe receiving area. • Support training for new associates in receiving duties. • Communicate receiving-related concerns to supervisors. • Provide friendly and prompt customer service at entry, exit, and front-end areas. • Operate registers accurately and efficiently as needed. • Stay informed on promotions and assist customers accordingly. • Maintain cleanliness and organization across the store. • Complete additional assigned tasks as required. Qualifications and Experience of Receiving Specialist: • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Effective verbal communication skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution. • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. • Positive attitude and team-oriented approach. • Previous retail or receiving experience preferred but not required.
