Production Team Leader

Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Production Team Lead to support a production team and help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This position serves as a lead point of contact for Production Technicians, providing training, guidance, and support while also performing hands-on production work. Schedule 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Responsibilities Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Production Technicians. Train team members on safe and efficient work practices. Assign and prioritize daily production activities. Monitor quality, productivity, and work flow. Help troubleshoot equipment and production issues. Operate production equipment and use hand and power tools. Assemble products according to specifications and work instructions. Perform quality checks, measurements, and basic calculations. Review timecards and ensure accurate reporting. Communicate production, material, or quality issues to supervisors. Promote teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience is required, with prior leadership, training, or team lead experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment. Ability to read and follow written instructions. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and lead by example. Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail. Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods. Perform repetitive tasks. Lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Good hand dexterity and coordination.
