Production Assembler I
Company: Milgard Windows and Doors (A MITER Brands Company)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Schedule: Swing Shift 3:30PM-12:30AM
Compensation: Starts at $22.00/hour + $2.00/hour Swing Shift Differential
The Production Assembler supports the manufacturing of vinyl windows and patio doors by performing basic to intermediate assembly tasks in a fast‑paced production environment. This role follows standard work instructions, focuses on quality and safety, and works as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

What You Will Do
Perform assembly tasks involved in the construction of windows and patio doors
Follow standard work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
Inspect your own work to ensure quality and accuracy
Work as part of a team to meet daily production and efficiency goals
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Support flexibility by assisting in different assembly areas as needed
What You Will Bring
High school diploma or GED (or ability to obtain)
Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or hands‑on work experience preferred but not required
Ability to learn and follow work instructions
Comfort using basic hand tools and equipment (training provided)
Basic math skills and ability to read measurements
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and grow within the role
Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly
Experience working in a fast‑paced or production environment
