The Midnight Guardians of Data Accuracy In a fulfillment center containing tens of millions of products, data accuracy is the absolute foundation of the entire operation. The overnight hours are the best time to audit our massive inventory while the floor is less congested. This is where the night shift Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team steps in. As an Overnight Inventory Control Associate, you are the auditor of the warehouse. This unique subset of night shift Amazon warehouse jobs is perfect for highly analytical, detail-obsessed individuals looking to forge elite logistics careers under the radar. The Overnight ICQA Mission While daytime pickers and packers are judged on their sheer speed, overnight ICQA associates are judged on one metric alone: perfect, uncompromising accuracy. You will spend your night utilizing advanced scanners and problem-solving software to ensure the digital database perfectly mirrors the physical reality of the robotic storage pods, fixing errors while the rest of the world sleeps. • Systematic Cycle Counting: You will perform continuous, rigorous counts of random inventory bins. You will empty entire compartments, scan every single barcode, and verify the physical count against the expected system count to identify shrinkage or overages. • Defect Investigation (Problem Solve): When an item is marked as "missing" during the day, it generates a ticket for you at night. You will play detective, searching adjacent bins, auditing recent stow records, and physically hunting down the lost inventory. • Safety & Quality Audits: You will routinely inspect the robotic pods for quality defects in the quiet hours, such as overstuffed bins that could fall and jam the robots, ensuring the floor is perfectly prepped for the morning rush. Exceptional Perks for Exceptional Night Accuracy Because ICQA requires a deep understanding of Amazon's proprietary inventory systems, this overnight role is a highly proven stepping-stone into corporate data analytics, IT support, and operations management. Amazon supports your ambition with lucrative night shift differential pay and our world-class benefits: Day 1 medical, dental, and vision insurance, up to 20 weeks of paid parental leave, a robust 401(k) match, and free college tuition via the Career Choice program. Join the night watch and become the brain of the fulfillment center.
