Parts Delivery Driver

Role Description The Parts Delivery Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Huntington, WV. This position is responsible for safely transporting parts and materials between McCorkle Machine & Engineering and customer or supplier locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include loading and unloading parts, verifying delivery documentation, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring that all items are handled carefully to prevent damage. The driver will inspect the vehicle regularly, report maintenance needs, and comply with company safety procedures and traffic regulations. The role may also involve assisting with basic warehouse duties, such as organizing parts, preparing orders, and communicating with internal teams to support efficient operations. Qualifications • Candidates should possess safe and reliable driving skills, including a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Candidates should possess basic logistics and organization skills, such as route planning, time management, and accurate record-keeping. • Candidates should possess physical capability to lift, carry, and move parts and materials, using proper safety techniques and equipment. • Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and team members. • Candidates should possess attention to detail and reliability, including verifying orders, maintaining documentation, and following safety protocols. • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; prior experience in delivery, warehouse, or manufacturing environments is beneficial. • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to workplace safety and company policies is advantageous.
