MGH-Machine Operator II

Job Description The Machine Operator II will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities • Will be required to operate/monitor a PLC. • Will be required to use a Human/Machine Interface (HMI) to adjust material requirements information. • Will be required to manually load materials from floor and part bins. • Will be required to orient tanks. • Will be required to perform other assembly tasks as needed. • Will be required to perform change over and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed. • Will be required to make minor adjustments, set ups and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment. • Will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance. • Will be required to maintain quality standards established for the process in accordance to specifications. • Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions. • Must maintain good housekeeping in work area. • Must observe all departmental safety requirements. • May be exposed to high noise levels, fumes and airborne particles. • Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications • High School Diploma/GED. • Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs. • Frequent lifting of 25-60lbs. • Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. • Continuous standing, bending, walking and repetitive lifting.
