Overview
We are currently seeking a Marine Propulsion Mechanic to join our Oxnard, CA team. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing marine and diesel engines to ensure reliable performance for marine vessels and related applications.
Wages
Starting wage for a Marine Power Systems Technician will depend on experience and education. $39.88 - $57.50
Responsibilities
Location: City of Industry, CAPay: $33 – $57.50/hr (DOE) + Overtime + Full Benefits
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair marine diesel engines, generators
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Perform engine overhauls and component replacements
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
Provide strong customer service while working independently
What We’re Looking For
Experience with diesel engines (marine or industrial)
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
CAT or similar equipment experience is a plus

Qualifications
One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school; Five plus year's heavy equipment experience or equivalent education and experience.
