Duties • Operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery such as laser machines, CNC cutters, and machining equipment to shape and assemble wood and metal components • Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, measuring instruments, and shop math to maintain quality standards • Follow safety protocols rigorously while handling materials such as wood barrels and metal materials to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment • Assemble fabricated parts accurately using mechanical knowledge and hand tools to meet project specifications Skills • Construction site experience or familiarity with industrial fabrication environments • Understanding of shop math, basic math skills for measurements, and use of measuring instruments like calipers and tape measures • Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes such as machining and assembly • Experience with power tools, hand tools, CNC and other fabrication equipment • Knowledge of safety protocols specific to metal/wood fabrication shops or construction sites Embark on a career that combines craftsmanship with innovation!
