As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining our apartment community by completing service requests, preparing vacant apartments for new residents, and ensuring our grounds and common areas remain clean, safe, and welcoming.
Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.
Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.
Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.
Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed
Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
Report violations of lease and house rules
Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
Maintaining excellent curb appeal

Requirements
Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician I:
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of apartment maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, unit turns, and general maintenance repairs.
Experience completing work orders and preparing vacant units for new residents.
Ability to perform minor repairs such as patching walls, painting, and replacing hardware.
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate web-based applications.
Strong customer service skills with a resident-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions and receive feedback.
Ability to work a regular schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
Participation in an on-call rotation as needed.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.
