Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Sacramento, CA Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire (Long-Term Opportunity) Schedule: Monday – Friday (No Weekends!) | Rotating Shift Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) & 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) Pay Rate: $19.00-$21.00 hrs (D.O.E.) Job Description PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local manufacturer specializing in high-quality paper and chipboard partitions. We are seeking dependable, hardworking Machine Operators to join their team for long-term temp-to-hire positions. Because mastering this machinery requires dedicated hands-on training, our client is looking for individuals interested in growing into a stable, long-term career with their company. Key Responsibilities • Feed paper, chipboard, and raw materials into production machinery safely and efficiently. • Monitor machine operations to ensure steady output and maintain product quality standards. • Remove finished partition products, bundle items according to specifications, and neatly stack/palletize goods for staging. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout each shift. • Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output goals. Requirements & Qualifications • Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work alternating/rotating shifts between 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), Monday through Friday. • Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus (helpful for communicating with international vendors/partners). • Work Ethic & Aptitude: Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and an eagerness to learn specialized machinery setup and operations. • Physical Demands: Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and handling paper/chipboard bundles throughout an 8-hour shift. • Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required.
