Local Driver (CDL Class A)

TransMaquila Inc. is 23-year old transportation company located in Brownsville, Texas. We have a fleet of 150 top of the line units. We are currently looking for a Local Driver to join our fast-growing team! Our employees enjoy benefits such as, but not limited to: • Medical Benefits • Life Insurance • 401k Matching • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Vacation Pay • Holiday Pay • Bereavement Leave As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for: • Taking enough time to meet delivery appointments and to do pre-trip inspections. • Inspecting the unit once a delivery has been assigned. • Reporting mechanical defects verbally and via the appropriate format. • Maintaining the assigned unit clean all the times. • Ensuring your own safety and health in the workplace, complying with the imposed preventive measures and adequate protection. • Correctly using the machines, devices, tools, dangerous substances, and any means with which you carry out an activity. Requirements: • Commercial Driver License (Class A) • Minimum 2- years of experience • Bilingual • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug scree and criminal background check.
