Job Title: Shipping Department Driver

Eugene, OR | Full-Time | Monday–Friday Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Shipping Department Driver to support shipping, receiving, and delivery operations in a busy steel fabrication facility in Eugene, OR. This position is ideal for individuals with shipping & receiving, warehouse, delivery driving, forklift, logistics, or manufacturing experience. What You'll Be Doing: • Operate company box trucks and flatbed trucks to safely deliver and pick up fabricated metal products • Load, unload, secure, and transport materials while following all DOT and company safety requirements • Prepare shipments and verify shipping paperwork for accuracy • Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and order verification • Inspect parts before shipment and report quality concerns to the Shipping Supervisor • Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic truck maintenance • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment • Maintain accurate shipping records and complete required paperwork in a timely manner • Keep the shipping and warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe • Communicate effectively with supervisors, office staff, customers, and production employees • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and housekeeping standards • Perform general shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned Qualifications: • Previous shipping & receiving, warehouse, delivery driving, or manufacturing experience preferred • Valid Oregon Driver License with a clean driving record • Forklift experience or certification preferred • Ability to read blueprints, shipping documents, and work instructions • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy • Basic math and computer skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • High school diploma or equivalent preferred Pay, Schedule, and Location • Pay Rate:: $18.00 -$20.00 • Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 6:00AM-3:30PM (Hours may vary) • Location: Eugene, OR 97402 Why Join Our Team? • Full-time weekday schedule with overtime opportunities • Opportunity for career growth within a growing manufacturing company • Supportive team environment with on-the-job training • Weekly pay Benefits Available: • Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Insurance • $0 copay for unlimited Teladoc virtual visits • Employee Assistance Program (medical, financial, or legal support) • Coverage available for spouse, domestic partner, and children • Pet insurance available • Resources for parents with children of developmental disabilities Hiring Requirements: • Valid identification that proves your right to work in the United States • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check Apply Today!
