Starting Wage: $20/HR Schedule: Full-Time: Sunday-Wednesday (Thursday, Friday, Saturday Off) Shift: Day Shift: 7:00 AM-5:30 PM Summary: As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our inventory records are accurate and up-to-date. Your attention to detail will help us maintain an efficient flow of materials and supplies. Essential Duties: • Report any accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, and safety issues to your Supervisor immediately. • Count and record material, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in stock. • Verify inventory records against physical counts and investigate any discrepancies. • Compile information regarding the receipt or disbursement of inventory and compute current balances. • Prepare inventory reports detailing balances, price lists, and any shortages. • Initiate recommendations for surveying defective or unusable items. • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs and support the team. Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED. • Fluency in English; ability to speak, read, and write. • 1 to 3 months of related experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience. • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overnight, weekends, and holidays. • Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments ranging from -5°F to ambient temperature. • Strong observational skills for assessing surroundings and inventory items.
