Inventory Control Associate

Job Description Inventory Control Associates are an important part of Frito-Lay's distribution network, helping ensure products move efficiently through every stage of warehouse operations. In this role, you'll assist with receiving deliveries, managing inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and preparing shipments while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and operational performance. What You'll Do • Receive and unload inbound freight, ensuring products and materials are handled safely and efficiently. • Pick, organize, and stage products for outbound orders according to established warehouse procedures. • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment after completing required training and certification. • Relocate inventory within the warehouse and place products in assigned storage locations using proper handling practices. • Verify product quantities, labels, and shipment documentation to maintain accurate inventory records. • Participate in inventory counts, replenishment efforts, and general warehouse organization projects. • Assemble, wrap, and secure pallets to support safe storage and transportation of products. • Maintain a clean and organized workspace by performing routine housekeeping and safety inspections. • Comply with all company policies, food safety requirements, and standard operating procedures. • Work alongside warehouse associates, supervisors, and transportation partners to meet daily productivity and customer service goals. Qualifications • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as operational needs require. • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, and move warehouse products throughout the workday. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, kneel, and perform repetitive physical activities during extended shifts. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently follow established work instructions and safety procedures. • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused work environment. • Prior experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements • Perform physically demanding warehouse responsibilities throughout scheduled shifts. • Work in warehouse conditions that may include temperature changes, moving equipment, and moderate to high noise levels. • Safely operate powered industrial equipment while following all workplace safety requirements.
