In-Store Grocery Shopper $15-$18/hr

Role Summary As an In-Store Grocery Shopper, you are the heart of our e-commerce operation. You will act as a personal shopper for our customers, selecting the freshest products and assembling orders with the highest attention to detail. This role is perfect for someone who is organized, efficient, and dedicated to providing a top-tier service experience from the digital cart to the customer's car. Key Responsibilities Order Selection: Efficiently gather products for online orders, prioritizing freshness and quality as if you were shopping for your own family. Order Assembly: Scan and bag orders on the go while strictly following all company bagging and food safety standards. Customer Interaction: Professionally communicate order substitutions or exceptions to customers via portable phone or in person during pick-up. Order Fulfillment: Process payments through the Point of Sale (POS) system, handle coupons, and deliver/load orders into customer vehicles. Staging & Storage: Ensure orders are stored in optimal temperature zones (ambient, chilled, or frozen) and maintain a clean, organized staging area. Problem Solving: Follow procedures for out-of-stock substitutions and report any pricing or location discrepancies to the e-Commerce supervisor. Operational Excellence: Meet or exceed productivity and seconds-per-item standards while performing essential opening and closing procedures. Qualifications & Skills Independence: Ability to work efficiently without constant supervision. Attention to Detail: Ability to read shelf tags accurately and select the correct items. Basic Math: Proficiency in counting, addition, and subtraction for order processing. Communication: Excellent oral and written skills to interact with customers and team members. Integrity: Maintain honesty regarding customer data and business information. Preferred Experience Previous experience as a Personal Shopper, Cashier, or Stocking Associate. Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment. Background in retail or e-commerce operations.
