Grain Production Worker

Cargill, a global leader in food and agriculture, is seeking a Grain Production Worker to support safe, efficient grain processing in our manufacturing facility. In this hands-on role, you will operate and monitor production equipment, handle grain and materials, perform basic quality checks, and maintain a clean, organized work area. You’ll follow strict safety and food safety standards while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Operate and monitor grain processing and production equipment safely and efficiently Load, unload, and move grain and related materials using forklifts and other machinery Perform routine quality checks on grain products to meet safety and specification standards Follow strict safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures in production areas Record production data and report equipment issues or process deviations promptly Assist with basic equipment cleaning, setup, and minor adjustments Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets Comply with all Cargill and regulatory guidelines for food safety and workplace safety Production equipment operation Forklift operation Basic mechanical aptitude Quality control checks Food safety and sanitation Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Recordkeeping and documentation Safety procedures and PPE use Material handling Basic troubleshooting Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA safety training or equivalent preferred Forklift operator certification preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and GMPs a plus
