General Production Tech

Job Summary The position involves regular material handling, loading and unloading, building loads, receiving materials, operating warehouse equipment, and completing shipping/receiving paperwork. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Build loads and prepare materials for shipment. • Dispatch trucks and complete required shipping paperwork. • Receive incoming materials into the plant. • Package and prepare finished products for storage or shipment. • Move finished products and materials to designated areas. • Operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, and sit-down forklifts. • Complete inventory and material-handling activities. • Read and follow packaging and shipping specifications. • Inspect finished packages, tags, labels, and paperwork for accuracy. • Maintain packaging materials, tools, and supplies. • Follow all safety, housekeeping, and company procedures. • Work effectively with warehouse, production, drivers, and management personnel. Qualifications: • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material-handling experience. • Previous sit-down forklift experience. • General knowledge of warehouse equipment and material handling. • Ability to use or learn RF scanning equipment. • Must be dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team.
