L4K 3Y7 WAGE: $18.00/hr What Wonderbrands Offers: • Wonderbrands believes in Home Grown Talent and accelerated career growth • Competitive Compensation, Health, and Dental Benefits • Pension plan with matching contribution • Bonuses • Discount program that covers almost everything under the sun - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc. Responsibilities • Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes • Feed products in the channels of packaging machine and ensure products are meeting quality standards • Check and move completed stacks from the stacker machine to their appropriate location in the bakery • Place finished bagged product onto blue trays as per required configuration • Work closely with Machine operators to ensure line is running smoothly without backups/stoppages • Monitor and conduct minor troubleshooting of stacker equipment; ensure dollies are available to the machine as required • Follow all Health & Safety standards and policies • Rework any product back to the line that is not complying with standards (improperly sealed bags, missing tag, less/more product in the bag etc…) • Follow all applicable food safety and quality standards and policies • Clean the work area using air gun during product changeovers Requirements • High school or GED • Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP and GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) considered an asset • Basic computer and mathematical skills preferred • Comfortable lifting upto 50 lbs. of weight on a consistent basis • Able to push and pull weight upto 50 lbs. on a consistent basis • Forklift certification is considered as an asset What is the recipe for a great career at Wonderbrands Wonderbrands, is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
