## Your Impact at Lowe’s
As a Receiver/Stocker, you’ll be the backbone of the store’s daily operations. Your main goal is to keep the sales floor clean, safe, and well-stocked for customers. This involves accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You’ll unload trucks, handle equipment and hazardous materials properly, and ensure your area is prepped for success each day. It’s a physical, fast-paced role that requires safe lifting practices and close attention to detail. Most of your shift will be spent on your feet, and schedules may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight shifts depending on store needs. And whenever a customer or teammate needs help, you’ll step in with a friendly, professional attitude.

### Your Day at Lowe’s
Your daily tasks will include unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and keeping the backroom organized. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically demanding, and scheduling can vary. Key duties include: delivering SMART customer service by answering questions and offering project support; stocking merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets; supporting store operations by verifying deliveries, prepping docks, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts; maintaining a safe, clean environment by following procedures for hazardous materials and equipment use; operating store equipment such as scanners, Zebra phones, and balers; and pitching in as a team player on other tasks as needed.
If you’re assigned to a Pro Fulfillment Store, you’ll also use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders, load delivery orders ensuring quality and accuracy, rotate orders by delivery date, resolve customer order issues, proactively communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction, and execute Delivery Readiness best practices.
### What You’ll Need
- **Minimum Qualifications:** A high school diploma or GED (or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education).
- **Preferred Qualifications:** 3 months of experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, or similar equipment; 6 months of experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking.
Lowe’s actively seeks and encourages bilingual, military, and veteran talent to apply.
### Travel and Working Conditions
This role does not require regular travel, though occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or to support nearby stores. Working conditions vary by location—you may be indoors or outdoors, and exposed to varying climates including extreme heat, cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions. Constant or intermittent noise and moving objects are common. Lifting guidelines limit single lifts to 75 pounds; team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
