Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

A Warehouse on the West Side of San Antonio is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. The primary responsibility of this position is operating a sit-down forklift to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility. This is a hands-on warehouse position. While forklift operation will be the primary focus, candidates should be comfortable assisting with general material handling and warehouse floor duties as needed. Responsibilities • Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and other materials • Move and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse • Transport materials to designated storage, staging, or production areas • Follow warehouse procedures and all required safety practices • Perform routine pre-shift forklift inspections and report equipment concerns • Maintain an organized and safe work area • Assist with manual material handling, pallet movement, staging, and other warehouse duties when needed • Work effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors • Participate in overtime when available Qualifications • Current forklift certification required • Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or similar environment preferred • Ability to safely and confidently maneuver equipment in warehouse areas • Comfortable performing physical warehouse and material-handling duties when required • Ability to follow instructions and established safety procedures • Dependable attendance and punctuality • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM • Willingness to work overtime when opportunities are available Compensation & Schedule • Starting pay: $19.00 per hour • Location: West San Antonio (78226) • Monday–Friday • 6:00 AM–2:30 PM • Overtime opportunities available • Consistent daytime schedule What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to be a team player.
