The ideal candidate performs repairs accurately and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer specifications, dealership procedures, and established labor time standards. This position plays an important role in maintaining high standards of repair quality, workplace safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction while supporting the core values of Nissan 24 of Brockton and Route 24 Auto Group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. * Complete assigned repairs accurately, efficiently, and within established time standards. * Follow all applicable safety guidelines, manufacturer procedures, and dealership policies. * Identify and communicate additional repair needs to Service Management. * Notify management of repair complications, delays, or issues that may affect quality or promised completion times. * Properly use and maintain dealership-provided tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical resources. * Perform road tests when required to verify repairs and vehicle performance. * Maintain accurate repair orders, diagnostic documentation, troubleshooting records, and detailed descriptions of causes and corrections. * Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, technical schools, and professional development opportunities. * Stay current with manufacturer technical service bulletins, repair procedures, and industry developments. * Meet or exceed individual productivity, efficiency, and performance goals established by management. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Ensure customer vehicles are returned in clean condition following service. * Assist and provide guidance to apprentice technicians when assigned. * Properly maintain dealership-owned tools, equipment, and technical manuals. * Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all applicable health and safety requirements. * Comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including environmental, hazardous waste, and workplace safety requirements. * Promptly report any conditions that may compromise the safety or well-being of employees, customers, or the dealership. * Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
