Now Hiring: Fitter Assemblers | Wind Turbine Manufacturing Pay: $20.00/hr Shift: Day Shift Hours: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule Job Description Aerotek is currently hiring Fitter Assemblers to join a wind turbine manufacturing team. In this position, you will help assemble and install components inside wind turbine tower sections. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with mechanical, construction, fabrication, or manufacturing experience. Job Responsibilities • Install ladders, platforms, lighting components, and other internal tower equipment • Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools to complete assembly work • Follow drawings, specifications, and written work instructions • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as needed • Move materials and assist with general production duties • Maintain a clean and safe work area Qualifications • Previous mechanical assembly, construction, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred • Comfortable using hand, power, and pneumatic tools • Ability to follow basic drawings and work instructions • Comfortable with lifting and performing physical work throughout the shift • Forklift experience is a plus • Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork Work Environment This position is located in a large industrial facility manufacturing wind turbine towers. Employees may work both indoors and outdoors and will work around active fabrication and welding operations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pueblo, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
