A premier motorsports organization is seeking experienced Engine Builders / Powertrain Technicians to join its high-performance team in Santa Clarita. Work directly with high-performance racing engines, advanced hybrid powertrains, and cutting-edge technology, supporting engine assembly, rebuilds, inspections, dyno testing, and development activities. What You'll Do • Assemble, rebuild, inspect, and maintain high-performance racing engines and powertrain components. • Perform engine teardowns, precision measurements, and component evaluations. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and support root-cause analysis. • Assist with engine installation, dyno preparation, testing, and post-test inspections. • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve performance, reliability, and durability. • Maintain accurate build records and quality documentation. What We're Looking For • 3+ years of experience in engine building, automotive, diesel, performance vehicles, racing, or mechanical maintenance. • Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, driveline, fuel, and cooling systems. • Proficiency with micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and precision measurement tools. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and service manuals. • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Motorsports, race engine, dyno, engine development, or hybrid powertrain experience is a plus.
