Driver Support and On-Road Supervisor

Job Responsibilities: What you will do Provide daily guidance and assistance to assigned driver support and breakdown specialists who provide drivers with crucial support. • Ensure assigned area is appropriately staffed and operating within budget constraints. • Ensure assigned employees have career development plans. • Ensure processes and procedures meet organizational requirements and are accurately utilized by driver support and breakdown specialists. • Ensure management defined metrics are adhered to during assigned shift. • Coordinate with leadership and assist in staff scheduling. • Update all Kronos times and monitor for accuracy. • Assist with difficulties recovering loads for on time service and tracking of focus customers as needed. • Provide guidance on decisions related to accidents, accident equipment removal, storage of equipment, accident clean-up, breakdown repairs and claims and repair order creation, etc. to ensure optimal resolutions. • Select best qualified local vendor based on cost, estimated repair time and quality of work. • Investigate all possible warranties during the vendor selection and recover warranty dollars due. • Control payments issued through purchase order, Com-check, Pinnacle, MVP Preferred and Fleet charge accounts. • Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives. Copy and paste URL into browser to view full description: https://knxtrans.jdxpert.com/ShowJob.aspx?EntityID=2&id=8023 Qualifications: What you need to bring • 2+ years related experience in call center and/or transportation operations required. • Successful completion of Driver Support and On-road Operations training required. • Previous people leadership experience preferred. • Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills. • Must possess excellent problem solving skills and be able to solve problems in high pressure situations. • Must be able to analyze data and present data that influences positive change. • Must be able to assess situations and ascertain optimal solution for each situation. • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. • Previous mechanical experience preferred.
