Distribution Center Associate

Job Description Distribution Center Associate are an important part of the Frito-Lay team, helping keep products moving safely and efficiently throughout our warehouse and distribution network. In this role, you'll receive, store, organize, and transport products while supporting daily warehouse operations and preparing orders for customer delivery. Your work helps ensure inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and the timely distribution of our products. Responsibilities • Receive, unload, and move products, pallets, and materials throughout warehouse and shipping areas. • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders according to established procedures and delivery schedules. • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment after successfully completing required training and certification. • Store and transport products using proper handling techniques while following inventory rotation and storage guidelines. • Confirm product quantities, labels, and shipment documentation to help maintain accurate inventory records. • Support inventory management by assisting with cycle counts, stock replenishment, and product organization. • Assemble, wrap, and prepare pallets to ensure products are secure and ready for shipment. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by completing routine housekeeping and sanitation responsibilities. • Follow all company safety policies, food safety standards, and warehouse operating procedures. • Collaborate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and transportation teams to meet productivity, shipping, and customer service goals. Qualifications • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts based on business needs. • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull warehouse materials throughout the workday. • Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and performing repetitive physical activities for extended periods. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. • Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements • Perform physically demanding warehouse duties throughout scheduled shifts. • Work in an environment with changing temperatures, moderate to high noise levels, and active warehouse equipment. • Safely operate material-handling equipment while complying with all workplace safety requirements.
