Component Assembler Light Mechanical - ENT

Title: Production Assembler/Component AssemblerLocation: Athens, GA 30601Duration: 12 months (Possibilities of Extension)Pay Rate: $15 - $16 hourly on W2 Shift : 1st shift: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday Description: Manufacturing Assemblers 1st shift: 5:00 Am - 5:00 PM Monday to Friday plus OT MAY be required due to business demands Completes simple repeatable assembly operations of large or medium-sized components without use of machinery. RESPONSIBILITIES: RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ability to assemble components using various h and power tools according to specifications. • Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions. • Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing. • Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications. • Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change. • Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping. • High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety. • Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned. • Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department. • Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed • Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments • Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required.
