Cleanroom Technician

Job Title: Cleanroom Technician Location: Santa Clara CA - Onsite Job Type: Full-Time, Contractor Duration: 6-12 months (Possibility for extension) Job Summary The Cleanroom Technician supports manufacturing operations by handling wafers, operating tools, and performing inspections within a cleanroom environment. This role works closely with process engineers and follows MES-driven instructions to ensure quality, safety, and production efficiency. Key Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience with manual wafer handling in a cleanroom environment • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts • Experience with MOCVD processes • General proficiency using spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or similar tools) • Strong attention to detail and adherence to cleanroom protocols Responsibilities • Follow MES instructions for work prioritization and execution • Load and unload process tools, including tools requiring manual wafer handling • Operate metrology tools, including X-ray Diffraction (XRD) • Perform visual quality inspections and enter measurement data accurately • Adhere strictly to cleanroom and safety procedures • Collaborate with process engineers to support daily manufacturing activities Education • Associate’s Degree in a technical or science-related field EEO: “Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
