Class A Tanker Truck Driver

CDL Class A Tanker Driver – Food-Grade Liquids Location: Chicago, IL Pay: • $34/hr to start, plus monthly bonuses and $40 per diem for overnight stays. • $3,000 in bonuses, $1,500 after 90 days and $1,500 after 6 months Schedule: • Monday–Friday, typically starting between 4:00–5:00 AM • Approximately 50 hours per week • 2 overnight stays per week • Occasional Saturdays may be required • No overtime pay Position Overview: Seeking experienced CDL Class A drivers to transport food-grade bulk liquids, including vegetable oil, milk, orange juice, and alcohol. Drivers will make approximately 3–4 deliveries per day, primarily along consistent routes with repeat customers. Customers handle unloading, and drivers are responsible for securing and sealing the tanker. Requirements: • Valid CDL Class A license • Minimum 5 years of CDL A driving experience • Minimum 2 years of tanker experience • Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required • Manual transmission experience required • No felonies within the past 10 years • No more than one moving violation or one at-fault accident Equipment & Additional Details: • Primarily 2018 or newer day-cab trucks • No slip seating • Trucks are picked up and parked at a designated tank wash station • Electronic logging app required Benefits: • Health • Dental • Vision Requirements: • Valid Class A Driver's License W/ 5 years experience • 2 years of tanker driver • Ability to operate a 10 speed manual (preferred) • Must have Tanker and Hazmat Job 14050
