Responsibilities: • Adhere to the strictest safety protocols while driving a commercial motor vehicle to ensure the protection of both on-road and off-road individuals. • To ensure the reliability of your vehicle and prevent potential problems while driving, it is crucial to perform pre-journey and post-journey checks. • Strategically plan delivery times and routes to enhance efficiency levels. • Ignoring the safety guidelines established by the industry for cargo handling may result in a significant accident or even a loss of life. • Communication with dispatchers and customers is a must, as they need to be checked on periodically to ensure all deliveries progress as they should. • Keeping precise logs of vehicle maintenance and operational hours is vital. • DOT regulations play a key role in ensuring that measurements across transportation infrastructure remain standardized and consistent, fostering a safe and efficient system that benefits both operators and users. • Inform the appropriate law enforcement agencies promptly about any collisions, vehicular issues, or infractions of traffic laws as they happen. • Excellent customer service involves addressing the needs of your clients promptly and resolving their issues efficiently, exceeding their expectations with a timely resolution. Qualifications: • Possessing a lawful and genuine Class A CDL license. • Maintain a record of safe driving habits. • Conform to DOT protocols for medical guidelines and undertake drug tests accordingly. • Comply diligently with the safety protocols outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) in order to decrease the likelihood of accidents. • Managing time efficiently and organizing tasks based on their importance can reduce stress levels and enhance overall job fulfillment. • Competence in lifting and shifting substantial loads. • High competence in effective communication strategies and exceptional customer service delivery.
