Role and Responsibilities: As a CDL Delivery Driver, your primary duty is to execute daily product deliveries with precision, safety, and timeliness. You will focus on route efficiency, accurate order handling, and exceptional customer interaction. • Transport products to designated retail locations according to assigned routes. • Safely load and unload vehicles while preserving product quality. • Verify order details and maintain comprehensive delivery records. • Organize and optimize daily delivery routes to meet schedules and service standards. • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and store personnel. • Process payments and invoices as required during deliveries. • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly. • Follow company safety protocols and transportation policies consistently. • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damage, or shortages immediately. • Adjust to changes in routes, schedules, and customer requirements efficiently. Required Skills and Experience: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Proven experience in delivery, transportation, or logistics operations. • Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and effectively. • Strong skills in route planning and time management. • Basic arithmetic skills for managing invoices and payments. • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Familiarity with handheld devices or delivery tracking technology. • High attention to detail to ensure accurate and complete orders. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution. • Knowledge of local delivery routes and service areas. • Experience with logistics or route optimization software. • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
