This position reports to Fairbanks, AK. Our CDL Class A Delivery Truck Drivers earn between $33.85 and $37.55 per hour. Main Responsibilities: As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you play a critical role in our team and are one of the faces of our organization. You will impact our customers by delivering a variety of food products, including meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, and supplies to their locations. Your dedication is fundamental to our success as we operate on cultural beliefs, a strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service excellence. • Provide top-notch Customer Service. • Deliver customer orders timely and efficiently to meet scheduled delivery times. • Unload products using a hand truck and place items in customer storage areas. • Be physically capable of heavy lifting, handling items up to 80 pounds. • Make regular stops during your shifts. • Deliver products in various weather conditions. • Verify delivery of items with customers. • Collect payments (cash or checks) when necessary. What You Bring: • Must be at least 21 years of age. • Must hold a valid CDL Class A issued by your state of residence with the necessary endorsements and meet DOT qualifications. • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Valid U.S. driver's license with appropriate endorsements. • No more than two traffic violations in the past two years; no DUI convictions in the past three years; no license suspensions in the past three years. • Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience or three months in the food and beverage delivery industry. • Ability to pass a DOT physical exam. Great delivery truck drivers are essential to the US FOODS® team and play a key role in customer relations.
