Main Ingredients of the Job: As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you'll play a pivotal role in our organization, directly impacting our customers. Your job includes delivering a variety of products such as meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to various locations. • Deliver exceptional customer service at every stop. • Ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining productivity. • Unload products using a hand truck and organize items in customer storage areas. • Perform repeated manual lifting of items up to 80 pounds. • Adapt to frequent stops, including deliveries in inclement weather. • Verify delivery details with customers and handle cash transactions when required. What You Bring to the Table: • 21 years of age or older. • Valid CDL Class A license issued by your state of residence, with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Valid U.S. driver's license issued by your state of residence. • No more than two traffic violations in the past two years, and no DUI convictions in the last three years. • At least six months of commercial driving experience or three months in food and beverage delivery. • Ability to pass a DOT physical.
