Job Summary: Join Sysco as a dependable CDL A Delivery Driver, where you'll safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver a variety of products including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, and more, to customer locations on a designated route. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements • Must be at least 21 years old. • Pass all employment screenings. • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record in compliance with company insurability standards. • Ability to understand and communicate in English effectively, including reading traffic signs, responding to official inquiries, and documenting reports. • Capacity to handle touch freight, lifting, pushing, or moving products averaging 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds regularly. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary. Preferred Requirements • 1 year of customer delivery experience is preferred. • Experience using a hand cart or hand truck for at least 6 months is preferred. • 6 months of experience in the Food and Beverage industry is a plus. • Preferred 2 years of consistent work history.
