Our mission is simple: Simplify Complex Logistics Together. We are building a team where People Matter Most and high standards are the norm, not the exception. The Role Carrier Sales is where our promise to customers gets kept or broken. Prospect, vet, and onboard new carriers, and deepen relationships with the ones who perform. • Cover freight competitively. Source capacity and negotiate rates on spot and contracted freight to hit coverage and margin targets. • Protect service. Track loads proactively, stay in regular contact with carriers, and resolve disruptions before they reach the customer. • Hit your numbers. Drive results against defined KPIs, including outbound call volume, on-time performance, tracking compliance, and margin. • Work from the data. Use our TMS, load boards, and market tools to find the right carrier for each lane, and keep every record accurate. • Read the market. Watch rate and capacity shifts, and feed what you learn to pricing and operations to improve lane performance and carrier utilization. • Collaborate across teams. Partner with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Success to fix recurring problems and improve how the network runs. What You Will Bring Required: • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and hold a firm position. • A results-driven mindset, high accountability, and consistent follow-through. • Organization and attention to detail when managing many loads and priorities at once. • Comfort with technology, including a TMS and Excel (or similar) for basic analysis. • Self-direction and responsiveness to perform in a fast-paced team environment, whether in our Boston office or remote.
