Beautification Laborer

      H2O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations and businesses across North America. H2O is currently seeking a Beautification Laborer to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. The successful candidate will perform a variety of manual labor duties related to the maintenance, upkeep and beautification of city owned properties, parks, right-of-ways, medians, drainage areas and other public spaces. Work includes landscaping, grounds maintentance, litter removal, trimming, cleaning and other duties as assigned.  The Benefits Overall remuneration includes:   * Health Insurance, Dental, Vision & Telemedicine * Health Savings Account * Life Insurance * 401K Retirement Plan with Employer Contributions * Paid Vacation & Sick Days * Paid Holidays * $15/hr Key Responsibilities * Maintains and beautifies medians, rights-of-way, public grounds and other designated areas. * Performs mowing, edging, weed-eating, trimming, pruning and general landscaping duties. * Removes litter, debris, leaves, branches and other refuse from public areas. * Operates hand tools, power tools and grounds-maintenance equipment safely and properly. * Performs general clean up and maintenance of city facilities and outdoor areas. * Assists with seasonal beautification projects, special events and community improvment projects. * Assists other Public Works crews with general labor duties when needed. * Maintains work ares in a clean and safe condition. * Follows all city safety policies, procedures and applicable OSHA requirements. * Reports damaged equipment, hazardous conditions, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor. * Performs other related duties as assigned. The Skills We Are Looking For  * High school diploma or equivelant preferred. * Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work for extended periods. * Ability to operate hand tools and basic power equipment. * Ability to work as part of a crew. * Valid driver's license is required. * Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull and lift. * Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
