Assembly Technician

We’re currently supporting a drone technology company based in Temecula, California with the hire of an experienced Assembly Technician to join their growing production team. The company designs and manufactures advanced fixed-wing VTOL drones and autonomous Drone-in-a-Box systems for defence, public safety and critical infrastructure applications. The successful candidate will be involved in: • Assembling fixed-wing VTOL drone airframes and mechanical subsystems • Installing motors, servos, landing systems, batteries, antennas, sensors and payloads • Wiring, harnessing, connector installation and cable management • Building electrical and electromechanical assemblies • Reading engineering drawings and assembly documentation • Carrying out functional testing and quality inspections • Troubleshooting assembly issues alongside the engineering team • Supporting prototype builds and low-rate production We’d be particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience within: • Mechanical or electromechanical assembly • UAV / drone manufacturing • Aerospace • Robotics • RC aircraft • Electronics assembly Experience with soldering, wiring, lithium batteries or carbon fibre composite assemblies would also be highly relevant.
