You will use hand and power tools, read and interpret measurements and blueprints, and may operate various fabrication machines as needed. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the flexibility to work overtime when required. Responsibilities • Assemble a wide range of parts and components used in the construction of larger equipment units. • Use hand tools and air-powered tools safely and effectively during daily assembly tasks. • Read and interpret tape measurements accurately to ensure precise cuts, fits, and assemblies. • Read and interpret engineering blueprints to follow assembly instructions and specifications. • Understand and apply basic concepts of angles, tooling, and cutting commonly used in construction and fabrication trades. • Assist in mechanical assembly tasks, including fitting, fastening, and aligning parts and subassemblies. • Perform basic electrical or wiring tasks if needed, such as routing wires and assisting with installation of electrical components. • Operate fabrication and production equipment such as band saws, press brakes, plate rollers, and other basic CNC or metalworking machines, as assigned. • Support metal fabrication activities, including cutting, forming, and preparing materials for assembly. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and quality standards. • Work overtime when needed to support production demands and project deadlines. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Queen Creek, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
